Do shoppers need to register?

Anyone can browse the catalogue. When ordering, the shopper confirms their phone number with an SMS code, and the same account works on your website and in your bot.

Do I add products separately for the website and the bot?

No. There is one catalogue with shared prices and stock. You add a product once and it shows on the website and in the bot.

Can one bot run on two platforms?

No. Telegram gives a bot’s token to one system only. Once you connect the bot to Misto, the old platform stops receiving its messages.

Your bot, and shoppers never see the Misto name

You create the bot yourself in BotFather, so its name and address belong to you. All you take from BotFather is the token; everything else is set up in the Misto panel.

In the panel you change the bot’s name, photo, description, welcome message and menu button label. Changes go to Telegram immediately.

A complete store inside Telegram

The menu button opens your store as a Mini App. Shoppers browse the catalogue, add items to the cart, drop a pin for the address and pay with Payme, Click, cash or card to the courier.

The Mini App follows the shopper’s light or dark Telegram theme. Order tracking, bonuses and chat with the store work there too.

Every order goes to your staff group

You add the bot to your staff group and send the code from the panel there. The code proves the group is yours, and from then on new orders go only to that group.

Each message shows the branch, the customer, a map of the address, the item list and the total. Packers can tick items off the list as they go, and the «Open order» button opens it in the panel.

Commands and persistent buttons

The bot answers shoppers on its own. /start shows the welcome message and store buttons, /promotions lists live promotions and /contacts sends your branches’ addresses and phone numbers.

Buttons stay pinned under the chat: open the store, my orders, promotions, contacts and help. «My orders» takes the shopper straight to their orders page.

Bring a bot from another platform

A bot that used to run on another platform connects as it is. Misto takes the bot over, and the old menu button and commands are replaced with ours.

The old platform’s buttons in shoppers’ chats switch to Misto buttons the first time each shopper writes to the bot. Ask customers in your channel or group to send /start, and the switch happens faster.
